This small Module for the remarkable Drupal Web Content Management System [1] called Term Blacklist [2], allows the administrator to define a global list of taxonomy terms which aren't allowed to be used on his site. Additionally he may or may not provide a substitute term.

Another Module for the extraordinary Drupal Web Content Management System [1] called the User Delete Module [2].

It allows every user with the appropriate rights, to delete themselves. Which is a truly nice functionality, especially when you recognice that this is the third issue [3] posted on December 17, 2001 on Drupal.org and is unresolved to date. This module will be abandoned as soon as the issue is closed.

Mein erstes eigenes Projekt auf Drupal.org befasst sich mit der Problematik, wie man von unterwegs einfach und schnell Inhalte auf seiner Website veröffentlichen kann.

Das Senden von SMS an E-Mail Adressen unterstützen mittlerweile alle Handy-Netzbetreiber in Deutschland. Da es für Drupal ein Modul namens Mailhandler gibt, welches empfangene E-Mails auf der Webseite veröffentlicht, gibt es dafür auch eine einfache Lösung - nicht jedoch für das Veröffentlichen von Fotos oder gar Videos und Musik.

Auf Anfrage von DrupalCenter.de habe ich dort heute ein Tutorial veröffentlicht das sich damit beschäftigt, ein Template von OpenWebDesign.org nach Drupal zu portieren.

Drupal ist ein sehr flexibles und mächtiges CMS und Web Application Framework. Grundkenntnisse in CSS, HTML und PHP reichen jedoch aus, um sich ein eigenes Theme zu gestalten.

Cascading Style Sheets sind der derzeitige Standard, wenn es um die Gestaltung von Webseiten geht. Jeder ernst zu nehmende Webdesigner kennt sich damit aus, denn die Vorteile liegen auf der Hand. Alle Layout-, Farb- und Fontdefinitionen werden zentral in einer Datei definiert, die anschließend in jede Webseite eingebunden wird. Diese Technik macht es sehr einfach, mal eben die Farbe der Überschriften, oder die Größe der Links zu ändern, denn man ändert das nur im Stylesheet und alle anderen Seiten übernehmen die neue Definition vollautomatisch.
